YOUR ROLE:

We are seeking a trained paralegal for an out of the box role utilizing paralegal knowledge as part of our business team supporting our funding and loan servicing operations. Client interaction as well as data management are key parts of this role. Review documents, conduct research and manage data necessary to support growing Underwriting and Investment team. Maintain ongoing account management through overseeing compliance with deliverables and addressing client requests. Strong oversight and analytical skills are valued in this position. YOUR DAY TO DAY:

  • Research, analyze and organize case information through electronic legal research sources and with CRM

  • Intake and review applicant information to support our growing Underwriting and Investment team.

  • Conduct research to support underwriting and ongoing account management

  • Organize, index, and track files and case inventory

  • Other support tasks as they arise

  • This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, to multitask and manage priorities to complete daily tasks within specified time parameters

  • Strong communication, client service and problem-solving skills to communicate information to different audiences including our team, clients and business partners, often serving as a primary point of contact for clients to obtain deliverables or support client requests

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management, data entry and adherence to system processes

  • The ability to work independently sometimes with minimal supervision, to deliver the highest level of service to clients while ensuring compliance with servicing agreements, and company policies

  • Participate in and drive collaborative efforts to advance tools, technology, and ways of working to optimize performance so we can better serve an evolving client base

  • As with the environment in most growth companies the role requires the capacity to quickly and positively adapt to and even contribute to evolving procedures that are often a part of continual improvement and growth

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-year degree

  • At least 5 years of paralegal experience, including litigation experience

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Experience with client relationship management systems or programs (Salesforce experience preferred)

  • Strong technical and analytical skills

  • Language Fluency: English (Required)
